The SHRM Guam Chapter is excited to launch the 2023 SHRM Guam Annual Conference entitled HR United – Taking HR to New Heights, to be held in person on August 18, 2023, at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort!

• EEOC Commissioner Keith Sonderling
  • Hear directly from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for the first time in Guam. EEOC Commissioner Keith Sonderling will be here to speak on the EEOC’s agenda and discuss issues the EEOC considers hot topics in today’s workplace.

    • With rising issues surrounding mental health in the workplace, HR Professionals and Business Leaders must understand how to manage grief in the workplace. Darlene Garcia will help us understand the grieving process to develop policies in addressing these situations.
  • Dr. Erika Anderson & Mary Kate Soliva, The Guam Rights Initiative
    • The Guam Human Rights Initiative will define human trafficking, bring awareness to the issue on a local level, and aid HR and Business Leaders in identifying when it occurs, reporting, and addressing the issue in the workplace.
