SHRM Guam invites you to attend our February Breakfast Briefing for 2025, an exclusive session dedicated to “Preventing Workplace Harassment.” Esteem speaker for this event is our VP of Legislative Affairs, Attorney Genevieve P. Rapadas of Calvo Jacob and Pangelinan, LLP.

Elevate your organization’s commitment to fostering a workplace where every individual is treated with respect and dignity. We recognize the importance of equal employment opportunities and the prevention of unlawful discriminatory practices, especially harassment.   Please join us for this informative briefing on February 15th from 8:30am to 11:30am at the Dusit Thani Resort Guam

    What to expect:

    • Strategies for Prevention – Acquire practical strategies to prevent and address harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
    • Real-World Insights – Explore actual investigations undertaken, learning from past experiences to gain practical insights into the challenges faced and solutions implemented.
    • Critical Thinking – You will be equipped with the tools to anticipate and address complex questions and situations that may arise within your organization, ensuring you’re well-prepared to handle any curveball.
    • Pro-Tips and Best Practices – Uncover the secrets to effective investigation techniques. From initial fact-finding to conclusive resolutions, discover the pro-tips and best practices that can elevate your investigative skills.
    • Legal Compliance – Stay ahead of the curve by revisiting federal and local statutes and mandates governing workplace investigations.
    • Safe and Inclusive Workplace – Contribute to creating a workplace culture that values diversity and ensures the well-being of all members.
    • BONUS – You will receive an Anti-harassment policy template

We know that it is especially challenging for many businesses and organizations to stay up to date with legal compliance because Employment Law is constantly evolving and in-house counsel can be costly. SHRM Guam wants to support you so that you can feel ahead of the curve when it comes to compliance and training.

Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your knowledge and contribute to a safer, more inclusive workplace.
