SHRM Guam invites you to our April Breakfast Briefing "Leading with Emotional Intelligence" on April 9th from 8:30am to 10:30am at the Dusit Thani Resort Guam. Esteem speaker for this event is Dr. John Rivera, Director of Human Resources & Corporate Development CITADEL Pacific Ltd.

Investing in Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is no longer optional – it’s a business imperative. In today’s fast-paced, high-stakes workplace, technical skills alone are no longer enough to drive success. Research shows that 90% of top performers have high EQ. For HR leaders, the ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, foster engagement, and deal with disruption is more critical than ever.

EQ is a key driver of employee retention, engagement, and organizational success.  The future of work depends not just on what employees do, but how they feel – and HR leaders play a pivotal role in shaping that experience.  But, it all starts with you and growing your emotional intelligence propensity.

With rapidly changing workplace culture, values, and challenges it is important as Managers, Leaders, and HR Professionals that we have the tools to help employees cope with change as we embrace disruption during uncertain times.

For a discounted price for SHRM Guam attendees, participants will have an option to receive an EQ-1 2.0 Leadership Report. The EQ-i 2.0 Leadership Report places EQ results in the context of four dimensions of a transformational leadership model - authenticity, coaching, insights, and innovation. Results can be compared against those of top leaders, creating a coaching benchmark for exceptional EI performance. The leadership report also contains insights on the leadership and organizational implications of your results, information about which skills have the highest potential to be leadership derailers, as well as strategies for development aimed to help your client reach their true leadership potential
